We specialise in web design have been producing websites for about 5 years, we have used a variety of different software packages and languages in order to produce the best websites possible. We currently use HTML to produce our webpages, we also use CSS to style these pages; CSS is extremely powerful and is very accessible for all users. We can also incorporate PHP into our web sites and is often used for a variety of features such as login forms, members only areas and shopping carts. The only PHP example on this page at the minute is in the email form on the right sidebar of every page, PHP is needed for such a form to work - we can do this for you.All websites will be sent to the client with a template page, this template page will display all elements styled in the stylesheet as well as basic instructions for creating a new page.
Content Management Systems
Content Management Systems (CMS) is becoming very popular with businesses and individuals alike, unfortunately they are not as flexible as a standard website; they require PHP and a database - this may not be available on certain webhosts. They are used more as the knowledge of theming has been increasing, designers can now transform the default CMS pages into something which is unique to the client. We are very familiar with WordPress and have created themes based on the default WordPress Twenty-Ten theme, this will be made available to see in the portfolio soon. We do have experience with Drupal and Joomla and can easily setup a basic website using one of these CMS's for a small fee.Forums
We understand the complications which often come with installing a forum as well as installing plugins for this forum. At Fusion Design we have experience with most major vendors, such as vBulletin, phpBB, Invision, Zeta, etc. If you are interested in setting up a forum but lack the time or experience, then we can help.Animations and Movies
At Fusion Design we have a lot of experience in building movies and small animations via Flash. Flash is lightweight and can easily be used and incorporated within websites, Flash can be used to play videos, play small animations and more interactive elements.We can also create professional videos to be used within websites, this will be done through iMovie and can be exported to a variety of formats which are suitable for web and DVD playback.
